Emergency services have rescued three hikers near the Mulata dam in Calasparra.

 

The 112 Emergency Coordination Center in the Murcia Region received several calls at 3:30 p.m. reporting that they were lost in the mountains and had little water.

 

A search device was immediately activated and the following resources intervened:

Environmental agents from the General Directorate of the Natural Environment reported that it was impossible to access the site.

 

Helicopter of the General Directorate of Citizen Security and Emergencies

Air rescue group of the Firefighting and Rescue Consortium of the Region of Murcia.

 

Once located and rescued, the hikers were transported by helicopter to where they had left their vehicle, without requiring medical assistance.
