Around 1,000 motorcycles and 1,000 and a half people from all over the Region of Murcia, neighbouring provinces and cities such as Granada, Madrid, Gandía, Ibiza and Palencia, among others, made the city of Cieza roar in February 2022 and turned the day into a resounding success for the 2nd Floración Motorcycle Touring Route and Biker Lunch, organised by Los Dormis, with the collaboration of the Cieza City Council and endorsed by The Irreprochables MG.
The non-competitive activity will once again include a social purpose in its third edition. This time, part of the proceeds from participant registrations will be donated to the Local Board of the Spanish Association Against Cancer, just as in previous editions, donations were made to the Down Cieza Association and the Piedras Vivas soup kitchen.
Registration, which costs 10 euros per person and includes the charity euro and lunch, plus gifts (the latter for the first few entries), can be made now through losdormis.es. Registration can also be done in person on the day of the event at the La Era venue.
The biker event will be held on Sunday, February 26th, as part of the official Floración 2023 program promoted by the Cieza City Council. Hundreds of motorcycle enthusiasts from around Spain will attend, filling the La Era sports area, the starting point for the procession. Upon their return, a luncheon accompanied by music will be held. The route will begin mid-morning and will run along country roads and rural paths in the Cieza municipality, where bikers can contemplate and enjoy the fields in bloom.
The approximately one-hour tour will conclude at the starting point, La Era, where the organizers will present recognitions, gifts, and personalized commemorative items to groups, bikers, and motorcycle clubs, and will raffle off various gifts and prizes for individuals.
After the painful hiatus caused by the pandemic, the brotherhood is already organizing the third edition of this event for next Sunday, February 26th. Participation is currently expected to triple that of previous editions. The Dormis have decided that, this year, the beneficiary group will donate part of the proceeds, €1 from each registration, to the Local Board of the Spanish Association Against Cancer.
