The Folklore Interpretation Center, on Empedrá Street, will host the presentation of the project to revitalize Cieza's Old Town today, Wednesday, March 1, at 7:30 p.m.

The project, which will be launched this afternoon, according to municipal sources, was developed with the participation of the neighborhood's associations, businesses, and residents, who, along with a specialized technical team, analyzed the needs and strengths of the old town.

The strategy aims, first, to improve the functionality of the historic center, a broad-based challenge aimed at revitalizing this important area for Cieza.

The project is included in the local action plan of the Spanish Urban Agenda for Cieza, which is also part of the Spanish Government's Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan.

María Jesús López, head of the Department of Planning and Strategic Objectives, invites the residents of Cieza to attend the presentation of the Old Town Revitalization Strategy, "a project designed to continue building the Cieza of the present and future with the help of the town's residents."
