The Department of Libraries, led by María Ramos, is proposing a series of activities for the month of March at the Padre Salmerón Library under the heading "Hilatura de Letras" (Spinning of Letters). These activities begin this Friday with a meeting with Planeta Prize finalist Cristina Campos at 8:20 p.m. Before that, at 7:30 p.m., there will be a concert by the Maestro Gómez Villa Conservatory brass quintet.

The following activities will revolve around Women's Day and will include a lecture on the 6th, 'Female Voices of the 27th' by José Carrasco Molina; the 8th, the opening of the exhibition '8 Women'; and the 9th, the presentation of the 'Homage Notebook Antonio López Saorín. A Ciezano in the Gusen (Mauthausen) Nazi Concentration Camp' by Alfredo Marín Cano.

On the 10th, storytelling and the lecture "Ingenious Women. Discovering Murcian Inventors" by Manuela Caballero. On the 14th, a lecture "Siyâsa, an Andalusian Gem from the 11th to the 13th Centuries" by Joaquín Salmerón and María José Morcillo, as part of the lecture series "Traces of Our Past: Cieza and its Heritage" organized by the CEH Fray Pasqual Salmerón. On the 20th, "Cieza, Urban Origins" by Fulgencio Angostos.

The 21st will be Poetry Day, with the children's show "Po Po Po? Poetry," organized in collaboration with local schools. On the 22nd, the presentation of issue 31 of the magazine "Andelma" will take place. On the 23rd, the presentation of the poetry collection "Days on Earth" by Ángel Almela will take place. Finally, on the 24th, there will be storytelling and a poetry recital with students in grades 4, 5, and 6, who will read poetry by poets from Cieza.
