In an event organized jointly by the Brotherhood of Saint Peter the Apostle and the Training Committee of the Board of Passion Brotherhoods, the image of Saint Peter, which has been restored over the past year, will be presented in the Church of Santa Clara next Thursday the 23rd at 9:00 p.m.
The presentation of the statue, the work of the renowned Malaga sculptor Francisco Palma Burgos (1948), will be led by Jose Carlos Rubio Valderde, who was responsible for its restoration seventy-five years after its arrival in Cieza. The presentation will be made beforehand by Enrique Centeno González, a member of the Art Commission of the Brotherhood Board.
The Brotherhood of Saint Peter the Apostle, which this year celebrates the 75th anniversary of its official founding, as well as the arrival of the Sacred Image in Cieza, invites all members of the Cieza Brotherhood, as well as all those interested in the world of religious imagery, to attend the presentation, which is an event of great importance for the Brotherhood.
