Emergency services have rescued, treated, and taken six people to hospital with varying degrees of injury in Calasparra.
6:56 a.m. 1-1-2 receives a call from one of the vehicles involved.
They say the accident occurred when a car and a van collided.
They report that there are injured people trapped in the two vehicles, and that other injured people have managed to escape.
They report that the accident occurred on the RM-714 highway (Jumilla-Calasparra), at kilometer 33.
