Municipal sources from Cieza City Council report that the riverbank has already been prepared with riprap for the piles to be installed in a few days, followed by the installation of the platform in the coming weeks.

Construction on the El Ginete Bridge continues as planned, and everything is ready for the installation of the piles. This work requires the use of a specific machine, which will be operational in a few days. Once the machine installs the piles, the platform, which is already in place, can be installed. Stone has been used to prepare the riverbanks, and the riprap to support the platform has already been formed.

"This is a major project, a long-standing demand that, after decades, will be realized. It wasn't an easy task, as the land had to be acquired and, once the project was drafted, the necessary permits had to be obtained, something that has also been achieved."

The aforementioned sources indicate that "it is a commitment that is finally becoming a reality and will represent significant savings in time and money for many farmers. It will serve to avoid road traffic in the municipality, and the bridge will also provide greater coverage for tourism, especially during the Floración period, as well as for potential emergency work."
