Tourism meeting with office managers from Murcia

Amparo Belmonte participated with councilors and municipal technicians from the region's municipalities.

A working meeting was held yesterday with tourism councilors and municipal technicians from the region's municipalities. This is the first time such a meeting has taken place to jointly advance the tourism development of the region and local destinations, sharing the guidelines and objectives set out in the 2022/2023 Strategic Tourism Plan, with quality and competitiveness as key pillars.

The councilor highlights the idea of leveraging a natural product that can be obtained in an innovative way to attract tourists, as is being done with our flower in bloom, for example.

In addition, there were interesting proposals that will be considered for implementation in our municipality, in which a large number of citizens will be able to participate.

Finally, Belmonte emphasizes the intention to defend our province's tourism potential and the opportunities available to us to boost one of the productive sectors that has proven to be an economic engine and a livelihood for many families.
