AEMET has issued a new bulletin indicating that maximum temperatures will once again exceed the threshold on Saturday, triggering a yellow warning.
This new warning states that maximum temperatures will reach 39°C in the shade in Vega del Segura, Valle del Guadalentín, Lorca, and Águilas.
It also indicates that temperatures can reach 40 ºC locally.
On the other hand, it is reported that in the Altiplano and Northwest the maximum temperature will reach 38 ºC.
The advisory will remain in effect from 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m.
