After the fair and festivities in honor of our patron saint, it's now the turn of our patron saint, the Most Holy Virgin of Buen Suceso. Her big day arrives this coming Friday, September 8th, with the descent of the procession from her shrine in Collado de la Atalaya to the Basilica of Our Lady of the Assumption.
This year marks the 60th anniversary of the Pilgrimage, from 1963 to 2023.
Here are all the scheduled events, from the descent to the ascent during the pilgrimage on Sunday, September 24.

Friday, September 8, the day of his Feast.
4:00 p.m. Atalaya Chapel. Transfer of Our Lady of Good Success to Cieza.
IMPORTANT: Buses to Collado de la Atalaya will depart from Camino de Madrid, opposite the Madre del Divino Pastor School, at 3:30 p.m.
7:00 p.m. Iron Bridge. Arrival of Our Lady of Good Success and welcome by Saint Bartholomew, patron saint of Cieza; subsequent procession accompanied by authorities, clergy, the Municipal Music Band, the Francisco Salzillo Choir and Dance Group, children dressed in regional costume, and the general public, to the Basilica of Our Lady of the Assumption, along the usual route: Iron Bridge, Cuesta del Río, Don Narciso Street, Cadenas, Mesones, San Sebastián, Buitragos, Cánovas del Castillo, San Pedro, and Plaza Mayor.
9:00 p.m. Basilica of Our Lady of the Assumption. Solemn religious service in honor of the Blessed Virgin of Good Success, officiated by the Rev. José Antonio García López. Floral offering.

Sunday, September 10th.
8:00 p.m. Basilica of Our Lady of the Assumption. Solemn religious service in honor of the Blessed Virgin of Good Success, officiated by the Rev. José Antonio García López. Flower offering from the associations and institutions of Cieza, kissing of the feet of the image of the Child Jesus, and the ceremony of passing the children of Cieza under the mantle of the patron saint.

8:00 p.m. Basilica of Our Lady of the Assumption. Solemn Triduum to Our Lady of Good Success, officiated by the Rev. José Antonio García López.

Saturday, September 23rd.
8:00 p.m. Basilica of Our Lady of the Assumption. Solemn religious service in honor of the Blessed Virgin of Good Success, officiated by the Rev. José Antonio García López. Ascension to the Sanctuary with the "light of life."
9:00 p.m. Collado de la Atalaya. Popular festival.

8:00 a.m. Basilica of Our Lady of the Assumption. Pilgrimage to the Atalaya Chapel.
11:00 a.m. Chapel of Our Lady of Good Success. Mass, officiated by the Rev. José Antonio García López, and a prayer service in honor of the people of Cieza on the balcony of the Chapel.
