The Mayor of Cieza, Tomás Rubio, and the Councilor for Education, María Turpín, met this Friday morning with the Minister of Education, Víctor Marín, to whom they shared the most urgent demands gathered from the Cieza educational community.

At the meeting, Rubio and Turpín outlined the requests arising from the educational agreements reached at the last plenary session held last Monday.

In addition, they have forwarded to the councilor the most urgent demands drawn from the meetings held with the Parents' Associations (AMPAS) and directors of the local schools.

After more than an hour of meeting, both the mayor and the councilor expressed their gratitude for the "attention and friendliness" of the councilor and acknowledged that "it was a fruitful meeting. We received a commitment from the regional ministry that they will study and work to respond to the requests submitted by the Cieza City Council."
