Municipal sources report that the regulatory framework and the call for applications for 2023, under a competitive bidding system, for subsidies for neighborhood associations intended for the organization of neighborhood festivals in 2023 have been approved.
The purpose of this call is to grant subsidies, under a competitive bidding system, for the purpose of carrying out patron saint festival projects in the neighborhoods, limiting the granting to one municipal subsidy per neighborhood association.
Projects must be developed within the 2023 fiscal year. No grants will be awarded to housing developments or neighborhood associations whose festivals are not intended for the general enjoyment of the neighborhood residents. Grants awarded will be allocated to programs, projects, or activities that promote active citizen participation in the celebration of the patron saint festivals of the city's various neighborhoods, contributing to facilitating and strengthening neighborhood relations and community organizations.
These grants may be applied for by neighborhood associations duly established and registered in the Municipal Registry of Citizen Entities of Cieza.
Interested associations must submit the application form included in Annex I to the City Hall's General Registry. This form will be provided free of charge to interested parties at the Citizen Participation Department, located on the 1st floor of the Capitol Theatre, or via email. The application must be signed by the association's president or, failing that, by the representative designated by the association for this purpose. Applications should preferably be submitted to the City Hall's General Registry, as well as through any of the means established in Article 16 of Law 39/2015, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.
