This week, the Local Government Board approved the regulatory framework for granting aid to reduce consumer prices and boost consumption in small and medium-sized businesses, hospitality, and other activities in the municipality of Cieza as part of the "Waiting for Christmas" campaign. This is an initiative of the Department of Commerce.
The ultimate beneficiary is the consumer, and the campaign aims to help them mitigate the effects of the recent rise in consumer product prices.
The aid will consist of distributing a total of 4,000 numbered discount vouchers to consumers, each worth €15, for a total of €60,000.00.
The campaign will run from December 15 to 18, 2023.
Small businesses in the town included in the call for applications may act as collaborating establishments in the management of the grants. Applications to become a collaborating establishment, which must be accompanied by the required documentation and information, can be submitted through the Electronic Registry of the Cieza City Council's electronic headquarters, which can be accessed at https://sede.cieza.es, or through any electronic registry of public administrations and at the General Registry of the Cieza City Council, for which an appointment is required.
The deadline for submitting applications will be 5 calendar days from the day following the publication of the extract of the Bases and their annexes in the BORM.
