The Cieza Trade Association is proud to announce a series of innovative initiatives to revitalize and strengthen local trade, thanks to the funding obtained through the Aid for actions and investments for the digitalization of the commercial sector in the Region of Murcia, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR) from the Next Generation funds and the active participation of 93 local businesses. The association is thus preparing to implement transformative projects in the digital and physical spheres, ensuring a prosperous and sustainable future for small businesses in Cieza.
The total investment, which will amount to €90,552.35, will be allocated to digital transformation and connectivity, thanks to the development of a comprehensive mobile application designed to strengthen the connection between merchants and customers, as well as to innovation in the physical sales space, adapting it to new consumer needs and habits with the introduction of touchscreens in stores to improve customer interaction, offering digital catalogs and promotions in real time.
Training for all businesses
Training and awareness are also being promoted, as the project includes training programs in digital marketing, customer service, and the use of technological tools, among others, to enhance merchants' capabilities and ensure their competitiveness in the digital marketplace.
For the Merchants' Association, and in the words of its president, M. Carmen Morcillo, "these initiatives represent an important step forward for the Cieza Merchants' Association. With these actions, we seek to continue improving our businesses to offer the best to our customers. We will continue working tirelessly at the association as we have until now, so that Cieza continues to promote its large open shopping center, comprised of each and every one of the municipality's establishments and the envy of the entire region."
