Municipal sources from Cieza City Council report that Social Security offers a series of benefits designed to prevent, remedy, or overcome certain unfortunate situations or specific states of need, which often result in a loss of income or excessive expenses for those affected. To check the status and formation of all of these benefits, this entity offers the Digital Social Card (TDS), which integrates the social benefits managed by Public Administrations (State, Autonomous Communities, and Local Authorities).
The TSD information system is based on information provided by various public administration bodies that manage social benefits financed with public resources and information received from certain subjective situations (dependency, disability, large family, job seeker, etc.).
This card is not only available to citizens, but also benefits administrations and society. But why?
– Citizens can access up-to-date information on the benefits they currently receive or have previously received, as well as the option to download it to a secure device. This reduces administrative burdens and simplifies the process of accessing social benefits.
– For administrations, the TDS offers a complete view of the social protection each citizen receives. This will make the management and control of benefits and financial aid more agile and secure.
– Public authorities will facilitate decision-making in the design of social policies.
Documents required for your application
To obtain this card, you'll only need a digital certificate, electronic ID, or permanent registration with Cl@ve and access the Universal Social Card Portal on the National Social Security Institute (INSS) website. You can also download the Digital Social Card app to access this information on your mobile phone, both on Android and iOS devices. Once logged in, you can also check if the information appearing on your Digital Social Card is incorrect or outdated. If so, contact the entity that managed your benefit, payment, or any situation you deem necessary to review.
