The Councilor for Strategic Projects receives first prize in the 6th Retail Technological Ideas Competition

The Department of Strategic Projects, headed by Francisco Martínez, decided to submit several proposals for the first time under this call for proposals. One of them was awarded first prize in Category 1, "Ideas aimed at modernizing commercial businesses with in-person sales."

Sources from this municipal department report that "at the end of July last year, the Federation of Municipalities and Provinces, together with the Ministry of Commerce and with the support of the State-owned Postal Company, announced a new edition of the competition for ideas applied to aiding Retail Trade."

On the occasion of the awards ceremony, the Councilor for Strategic Projects, along with a representative of the department's technical staff, traveled to Madrid to collect the award from the Secretary of State for Trade, Xiana Méndez.

"This type of initiative demonstrates the potential that public-private collaboration can offer in generating synergies and improving the competitiveness of the productive sector," the same sources assert.

In his speech, Martínez thanked the municipal technicians for their "great work, the true architects of this award."
