The Director General of Consumer Affairs, Alberto Sánchez, met this morning with the Mayor of Cieza, Tomás Rubio, to discuss the implementation of new services that will increase consumer protection in the municipality.

The Councillor for the branch, Daniel Lucas, was present at the visit.

The points studied include the development of a campaign to encourage local businesses to join the Arbitration Board; the proposal of specific consumer courses for children, adults, and seniors; official consumer inspection and control campaigns; and the opening of a room at the Municipal Consumer Information Office (OMIC) to conduct arbitration hearings online.
