This weekend, the municipality hosted a meeting with the national leadership of OJE for the celebration of National Day 2025 in Cieza, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the musical group 'Averroes'.
At the meeting, held this Friday in the Blue Room of the city hall, the organization's national president, Roberto Cuadrado, presented the mayor, Tomás Rubio, with a commemorative pin for the organization's 65th anniversary, which will also be celebrated in Cieza.
The meeting was attended by the Councilors for Culture and Youth, María Turpín and Cristo Manuel Lucas, respectively, and the director of the Cieza OJE Guide's Home, Pedro Morcillo, among other members of the Cieza OJE.
