Cinema, at its best, has the potential to be a compassionate, thoughtful, and revolutionary act. No Other Land challenges the Zionist narrative and shakes up global politics. A single film cannot carry the weight of everything that needs to be expressed about a century-long colonization, but this film shows a grim reality: the cruelty, the structural, systematic violence with which Israel annihilates the Palestinian people. It is a demonstration of how wretched and perverse human beings can be, and it is also a testament to the courage and resilience of the Palestinian people.
