The Director General of Citizen Security and Director of the Plan has declared the Special Civil Protection Plan against Floods in the Region of Murcia (Inunmur Plan) to be in the pre-emergency phase.

This means that the 1-1-2 Emergency Center of the Murcia Region has issued a weather warning (in this case, an orange level warning for rainfall that could reach 30 liters per square meter in one hour) to the affected municipalities, local police, municipal civil protection services, the Murcia Region Fire and Rescue Consortium, and any other regional government agencies that may be involved in managing emergencies caused by the meteorological phenomenon. Furthermore, constant contact is being maintained with the State Meteorological Agency's Forecasting and Monitoring Group to monitor the progress of the event. The same is happening with the Segura River Basin Authority to monitor the evolution of the hydrometeorological situation.

The State Meteorological Agency has updated its adverse weather warnings and issued an orange-level warning for rainfall of up to 30 liters per square meter per hour for tonight and tomorrow morning in the Guadalentín Valley, Lorca, Águilas, Campo de Cartagena, and Mazarrón. In addition, there are yellow-level warnings for rainfall in Cieza and Vega del Segura, as well as for storms, winds, and coastal weather for today and tomorrow.
