The opening of the exhibition "Paintings" by painter and artist Pedro Diego Pérez Casanova will take place next Friday, September 29th, at 8:00 p.m. at the Siyâsa Museum.

The exhibition will remain open until October 29th.

BIOGRAPHY

Pedro Diego Pérez Casanova, Viladecans (Barcelona), 1968. He is a visual artist, considered the last of the neofigurative artists.

He has developed his career as a painter, winning numerous national awards throughout his career, including the Winterthur Prize for the Burgos Cathedral in the city of Avila, the Villa de Fuente Álamo National Prize (Murcia), and the Villa de Riaza Prize (Segovia), among others.

He has exhibited in numerous Spanish galleries and participated in international fairs such as Lineart in Belgium and Porto Arte in Portugal; in public venues such as Santa Bárbara Castle in Alicante, El Martillo in Murcia, the City Hall, and the Roman Theatre Museum in Cartagena.

He has also created a 2.25 x 12 meter mural, which decorates the Santa Lucía Hospital in Cartagena.

Pérez Casanova's work is part of the collection of institutions such as the Cartagena City Council, the Murcia Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Navigation, the Cajamurcia Foundation, the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, and other institutions throughout the country.

His work is part of numerous private collections in Spain, Europe and the United States of America.
