This Sunday, October 29th, the 12th Meeting of Children's Tercios of Cieza's Holy Week will be held at the Diego Tortosa Secondary School in Cieza. The event will run from 9:30 a.m. to approximately 7:00 p.m., when the parade begins.
This event is aimed at all children from 1st to 6th grade in primary school who participate in our Holy Week program. Various activities will be held to keep the youngsters entertained, and it will conclude with the traditional procession of children's thrones from the various brotherhoods from the Diego Tortosa Secondary School to the Plaza Mayor.
Children attending the meeting should bring enough food to last the day, according to what their parents deem appropriate. It's common to bring a mid-morning snack and a midday meal, as well as water and drinks. The backpack they bring to the meeting must have their name on it, as at the end of the meeting all the backpacks will be carried together to the Town Hall Square to streamline the procession.
