To commemorate the founding of the Cieza Esparto Association and to safeguard the esparto grass in our town, this first Cieza Esparto Meeting will be held this Sunday, November 26th, at the Atalaya Ateneo Club in Cieza from 1:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This event will serve to promote the protection and conservation of esparto grass artisanal techniques.
Esparto grass growers from the Alicante open classroom will participate, accompanying them to inaugurate the new Cieza Esparto Grass Association, which arose from the need to safeguard the esparto grass culture in the town and, together with the Cieza Esparto Grass Museum, to establish common lines of dissemination and conservation.
