The Disability Commission, together with the Municipal Volunteer Office, will carry out a series of activities to celebrate International Day for People with Disabilities and Volunteering in Cieza.
Friday, December 1st, VIII Solidarity Walk under the motto 'Let disability not stop you', departure from Plaza de España at 11:30 a.m., where a walking tour will be held through the main streets of Cieza.
At the end of the march, a manifesto will be read, and the award will be presented to the person or entity representing the world of disability in 2017.
12:30 p.m., Plaza de España, a meeting of municipal associations working with volunteers and people with disabilities, with a display of stands showcasing their current activities and hosting recreational and educational workshops.
Thursday, December 21, students from the El Buen Pastor Special Education School and members of the ASCOPAS Occupational Center will perform the play "The Nutcracker" at the Capitol Theater at 5:00 p.m., with free admission until capacity is reached.
