Two students from Cieza and Abarán, specifically Luisa Morcillo Salmerón from Cieza and Lucas Ibáñez Sánchez from Abarán, were the national winners of the "A Constitution for All" competition, sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport to encourage reflection on the value and importance of the Constitution among Spanish students.

The Minister of Education, Youth, and Sports, Adela Martínez-Cachá, congratulated the two students, from schools in Abarán and Cieza, who received awards in the Primary Education category.

Martínez-Cachá will present the awards next Thursday, December 14, at a ceremony in the Congress of Deputies in Madrid, presided over by the Minister of Education, Culture, and Sports, Íñigo Méndez de Vigo, and the President of Congress, Ana Pastor.

Martínez-Cachá explained that "these awards are another example of our students' creativity and encourage schools to participate in national programs and competitions."

Luisa Morcillo Salmerón, a student at the Cristo del Consuelo Primary School in Cieza, won the B category, from 4th to 6th grade of Primary Education. And Lucas Ibañez Sánchez is a student at the CEIP The bilingual Virgen del Oro de Abarán school won first prize in category A, for grades 1 to 3 of Primary Education. The winners drew and created messages related to the Constitution.

In awarding the prizes, the jury considered inspiration in the core values of the Constitution, order and reasoning in the writing, syntactical and spelling precision, and the originality and creativity of the entries.
