At around 1:47 p.m. on December 31, a neighbor alerted the Local Police having seen a dog in the river and reported that the animal wasn't moving, posing the consequent risk of drowning. The officers went to Paraje de la Presa to verify the truth of the report, locating a Belgian Shepherd mix in the water that wasn't moving its legs.

The officers didn't hesitate to jump into the water to rescue the animal, and after pulling it out, they discovered it had mobility issues due to the amount of time it might have spent in the cold water.

Later the Police He required the help of the PUPEC Association to locate the dog's owner, with positive results, as he was located and handed over.
