Next Thursday, March 8th, in commemoration of International Women's Day and the Feminist Strike, the Ajuntaera Feminista Akelinza Association of Cieza is organizing a Feminist March at 6:00 PM. The route will run from Plaza San Juan Bosco to Esquina del Convento, and a performance will follow.
Additionally, "on March 8th, there will be a Street Exhibition: 'Do You Know Who I Am?'" It will be displayed along both Paseos, Esquina de Convento and Plaza España. It will showcase important women silenced by patriarchy throughout history. A film forum will also be held with a screening of the film Persepolis, along with a debate. This will take place on March 9th at 7:00 PM at the Diego Tortosa Secondary School.
