SYNOPSIS

When I Grow Up I Want to Be a Firefighter has as its guiding thread the history of humankind and its often far from peaceful coexistence with the object of worship of the most ancient civilizations and the most terrible of the four elements of antiquity: fire.

Through its pages parade philosophers, alchemists, mystics, scientists, inventors and all those who, in one way or another, used it to unravel the mystery that surrounds it, the origin of the matter from which we are made and the technological advances it brought to humanity.
