The beginning of Holy Saturday will take place this Friday night, early in the morning, between midnight and 12:30 a.m., and after the collection of the Virgin of Sorrows, the Transfer of the Most Holy Christ of Mercy will begin, organized by the Brotherhood of La Samaritana.
The Christ will be moved from the Basilica of Our Lady of the Assumption to the Holy Week House-Museum in Cieza, on Cánovas del Castillo Street.
Route: Basilica of Our Lady of the Assumption, Main Square, Hoz, Barco, San Bartolomé, Placeta del Santo, La Parra, Plaza del Comisario, Rincón de los Pinos, Bartolo Lopo, Desamparados, Cabezo, Nueva, Corner of the Canton, Buitragos, Empedrá, Barco and Cánovas del Castillo.
Upon arrival, the ceremony of raising the Most Holy Christ of Mercy to the throne of “La Lanzada” will take place.
