Last Saturday, April 17th, eleven second-year ESO students from the IES Los Albares in Cieza went to the neighboring town of Espinardo to participate in the 58th Regional Edition of the Young Talents Short Story Contest sponsored by Coca-Cola. The students received a a gift containing a phrase that they had to use to write a story for a maximum of two hours.
From among all the participating students, the jury selected six as finalists for the regional phase of this 58th edition. Two of these six young talents are students at IES Los Albares.
They are José Manuel Morcillo Salmerón and Carla María Martínez Moxo. Their final ranking will be revealed at the Awards Ceremony, and the top finisher will advance to the next national round.
