Zenet presents her fourth album, whose songs speak of "forgiveness, childhood memories, and looking toward the future." This is a luminous album, lyrics filled with a poetry of comforting happiness. These are songs for a new time. Alegría de vivir, which, like her third album, moves from night to day, from the interior of nightclubs to the light of Latin rhythms.
The Malaga native attributes the exuberant sound of the album to the new rhythmic base that accompanies it, led by drummer and percussionist Moisés Porro, and completed by double bassist Yrvis Méndez and the already regular Manuel Machado (trumpet), Ove Larson (trombone) and Pepe Rivero (piano).
