According to 112, at 3:19 p.m., emergency services intervened in a traffic accident that occurred at km 25 of the road from Venta del Olivo to Calasparra, in the municipality of Cieza.
A call to the 112RM Emergency Coordination Center from the driver of a truck traveling at that kilometer point at the time indicated that a car had fallen off a bridge at kilometer 25. The consortium's firefighters, two medical units, and the Civil Guard were immediately dispatched.
Firefighters from the Consortium did not have to intervene. The three occupants got out of the damaged vehicle on their own.
Medical personnel have reported that one seriously injured person and two minor injuries have been transferred to the Hospital de la Vega Lorenzo Guirao in Cieza.
