Sources from the Cieza Local Police report that this Wednesday, around 7 p.m., a man of Maghrebi origin entered an optician's shop located on Buen Suceso street and, taking advantage of the shop assistant's inattention, grabbed a pair of glasses of a well-known brand, leaving the establishment on foot.
The shop assistant provided the officers with a description of the perpetrator, who was subsequently apprehended. A search revealed he was carrying various items from other stores.
Given these facts, the detainee was identified, and the police verified that the allegedly stolen items belonged to three businesses. The managers of these businesses were informed and expressed their intention to file a complaint.
Finally, the recovered items as well as the proceedings carried out are sent to the Civil Guard.
