The Brotherhood of San Bartolomé arrives with the new program for this year's 2017 Coat of Arms Festival, "The Invasion."

Among the highlights, we highlight the handover of powers to the Commander by the Mayor of Cieza on Friday the 28th at 8:00 p.m. in the Plaza Mayor.

On Saturday the 29th, an invasion event will take place, with a mock battle on the Segura River at the Iron Bridge, and hostage-taking at the San Bartolomé Chapel, at the same time. On Sunday, the grand closing parade of all the participating tribes and troops will take place, starting at 6:00 p.m.

There will also be the traditional medieval market, which will take place from April 28 to May 1, taking advantage of the setting of Cieza's Plaza Mayor and the streets of the old town.

Fire shows, musical entertainment, ballad performances, theater productions, falconry, and a children's corner are some of the attractions at this open-air venue, which will sell all kinds of handicrafts and products. Opening hours are from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to midnight.
