This Thursday, February 21st, the Conference Series organized annually by the Fray Pasqual Salmerón Historical Studies Center of Cieza begins.

Its title is "Cieza and traditional life" and it will consist of 6 lectures, whose titles and dates can be seen on the poster that Mariano Rojas Marin has prepared for the occasion.

All of them will be held at the Padre Salmerón Library in Cieza, beginning on February 21 with the talk "Forgotten Trades" at 7:30 p.m.

Joaquín Gómez Carrillo will talk to us about the trades that have been forgotten and that may seem remote to us, some related to the land, such as those that had to do with reaping, shepherding and pine cutting, and others focused on the industry that developed alongside the omnipresent agriculture.
