JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR is considered the greatest rock opera of all time. It is, without a doubt, a worldwide cultural phenomenon, performed in more than 40 countries across five continents. In Spain, it was a resounding success thanks to Camilo Sesto, just as the American film had been in the 1970s.
The plot of the work revolves around the last seven days of the life of Jesus of Nazareth, beginning with the preparations for his arrival in Jerusalem, up to his crucifixion.
The production will be staged by the Jesus Christ Superstar Murcia Association, featuring amateur singers, actors, and dancers from our region. Proceeds from the various performances will be donated to NGOs in our community.
