The arrival of another African air mass will raise temperatures in the Altiplano, the Northwest, Vega del Segura, the Guadalentín Valley, Lorca, and Águilas.

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) issued this Wednesday a report on adverse meteorological phenomena of yellow level due to temperatures that next Friday, the 12th, could reach 38 degrees in the Altiplano, Northwest, Vega del Segura, Guadalentín Valley, Lorca and Águilas due to the incursion into the peninsula of a new mass of warm air of African origin

The Preventive Action Plan against the Effects of Excessive Temperatures on Health set its daily index of thermal extremes at level 1 (yellow) for the Northwest region, where temperatures considered threshold (34 degrees maximum and 23 degrees minimum) are expected to be exceeded.
