In the coming days, two important dates will be commemorated: World Disability Day on December 3rd and World Volunteer Day on December 5th. The Department of Social Welfare of the Cieza City Council, headed by Melba Miñano Bleda, joins this commemoration, highlighting the importance of the work of both groups. "Cieza is a caring city, which is demonstrated through the social activities of its population."
For this reason, a series of activities have been planned to raise awareness of this work among both the disabled and volunteer communities.
Programming:
*Radio program cycle: On Monday, November 25th, Tuesday, November 26th, and Thursday, November 28th, disability associations will be speaking on local radio stations.
* Saturday, November 30th. At the Esquina del Convento at 6:30 p.m. Reading of the manifesto by the Downcieza Association and recognition of the 2019 volunteer work. Entertainment by Anfri DJ.
*Tuesday, December 3: Signa Musica. Song "Baile" by Rozalen. Organized by the Cieza Children's Network, the municipality's educational centers will participate.
*Monday, December 16: Play “The Little Mermaid” performed by students from the “El Buen Pastor” Special Education Center and the users of the ASCOPAS Occupational Center.
