With the approach of February and the events prior to Lent, the Brotherhood of the Blessed Virgin of Sorrows wishes to remind everyone this month of the fourth edition of the photographic competition "Good Friday in Cieza".
The competition's first and only prize is the honor of having the photograph used as the poster for the Solemn Processional Transfer of the Blessed Virgin of Sorrows, which takes place on Good Friday in 2020, in addition to a cash prize of 150 euros; any photograph that best reflects unique and characteristic aspects that define and shape the particular identity of the parade is valid.
Those interested in participating can submit their photographs on January 23 and 24, 2020, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Holy Week Museum of Cieza, located at C/Cánovas del Castillo nº7, Cieza (Murcia). Photographs must adhere to the specifications outlined in the contest rules, which can be found on the Brotherhood's social media: on Twitter @Dolorosa Cieza, on Facebook /ladolorosacieza, and on Instagram @Dolorosa_cieza.
Likewise, the presentation of the jury's decision and the award ceremony will take place on Saturday, February 1, 2020, starting at 8:00 p.m., in the Assembly Hall of the Holy Week Museum of Cieza.
