In response to Order SND/380/2020 of April 30, regarding the conditions under which non-professional physical activity can be carried out outdoors during the health crisis caused by COVID-19, starting on May 2, the Cieza City Council clarifies:

– No one with symptoms consistent with COVID-19 or who is in quarantine may leave their home, including children and adolescents.

– The established schedules for each activity and age group are as follows:

– Children under 14 years of age, accompanied by a responsible adult, of legal age, who lives in the home with the child or is a household employee in charge of the minor, the permitted hours will be from 12:00 to 19:00 hours, for one hour and in an environment of around one kilometer away from the home.

Dependent people and people over 70 years oldFrom 10:00 to 12:00 and from 19:00 to 20:00, people may take walks within a one-kilometer radius of their homes. Those who need to be accompanied, They can do it for a cohabiting person, a domestic worker in charge or regular caregiver.

People over 14 years oldThey may circulate on public roads or spaces to practice any individual sport that does not require contact with others, as well as for walks. These activities may be carried out once a day and during the following time slots: 6:00 to 10:00 hours and from 20:00 to 23:00 hours.

– It is essential that the social distancing measures dictated by the health authorities be respected, avoiding contact with members of other family units.

In Cieza, due to the great use that the people of Cieza make of the natural environment of riverand with the aim of avoiding face-to-face confrontations, A one-way circuit is enabled which can be entered or exited at any time. It is not a closed circuit, but anyone within the designated areas must follow the one-way route.

In this regard, and in order to facilitate the activity, the following procedure will be followed: Road closure on the Paseo Ribereño, from the Iron Bridge to the Argaz Bridge, allowing passage only to people accessing properties located in that sectionThese owners or residents should contact the email address policía.local@cieza.es to request authorization that will allow them access.

During sports practice hours, there will be staff from the sports department throughout the circuit, who will assist athletes and check, together with the Local Police and Civil Guard, that the social distancing measures that we must all comply with are being observed.

Regarding Order SND/381/2020 of April 30, which allows non-professional activities of care and harvesting of agricultural products from May 2, during the health crisis caused by COVID-19, the Cieza City Council clarifies:

  • Travel for the care and harvesting of gardens is authorized, provided that they are located in the same municipality as the home, or in one adjacent to it.
  • These movements must be kept to a minimum for carrying out essential tasks and gathering necessary supplies.
  • The work referred to in this order will be carried out individually, unless accompanied by people with disabilities, minors, the elderly, or for another justified reason, and for the time necessary.

We continue to find ourselves in a serious health crisis, and now more than ever, it is essential not to relax the measures and not let down our guard in the precautions we must take to overcome this terrible pandemic. In this regard, police and Civil Guard controls will be intensified to continue ensuring compliance with the regulations.

We appeal to the responsibility and consistency that the people of Cieza have shown thus far, to also comply with the regulations issued for children going outside, so that together we can gradually return to normal. RESPONSIBILITY, CALM, and RESPECT for the RULES are what the Cieza Town Hall asks of its citizens, as this is the only way to stop the spread.
