The 1-1-2 Emergency Coordination Center in the Murcia Region received several calls beginning at 12:35 p.m. reporting a traffic accident involving three trucks on the A-30 motorway toward Albacete at PK 94 in the municipality of Cieza.
Local police from the Cieza City Council tell us that there are people trapped and several injured.
The following personnel are dispatched to the scene:
Local Police and Civil Guard patrols.
Road maintenance personnel.
Firefighters from the Murcia Region Fire and Rescue Consortium from the Cieza and Molina de Segura fire stations.
Ambulances from the 061 Emergency and Health Service.
They tell us that the road is closed.
Medical personnel treated, stabilized, and transferred a total of four injured people, two of them to the Virgen de la Arrixaca General University Hospital and the remaining two to the Morales Meseguer Hospital.
