The Department of Culture is organizing a celebration of the SUMMER SOLSTICE next Friday, June 23rd.
This new event, which will be announced at a press conference next week, will feature various music, theater, and dance activities.
To this end, the Department has enlisted the support of the Department of Youth and several local associations and groups.
The Department of Culture is working to welcome the arrival of summer in Cieza with various artistic expressions. Other cultures have celebrated and continue to celebrate this cosmic phenomenon, because the sun is a celebration for all, a beginning of life, the continuity of existence.
The tradition of this festival, along with the night of San Juan, continues to be celebrated in many places around the world, and from this corner of the Region of Murcia, we want the people of Cieza to enjoy that night with music, theater, and dance.
