The Rociero Group of Segura de Cieza, in collaboration with the City Council, has once again prepared various events for the 11th Rociera Pilgrimage, which will be held on Saturday and Sunday, June 10 and 11.
Saturday the 10th, at 8:00 p.m., an offering will be made to the Holy Christ of Consolation at his shrine. At 9:30 p.m., the fairgrounds will be inaugurated at Arenal del Río, followed by a performance by Antonio Micol.
Sunday the 11th, at 10:00 a.m., there will be a religious ceremony in San Joaquín, followed by the traditional procession of the Virgen del Rocío. The image will arrive and be welcomed at Arenal del Río around 1:15 p.m. A brotherhood meal will follow. At 4:00 p.m., there will be a performance by the "Por amor al arte" (Rocío) choir and several other guest choirs.
