In recent months our lives have undergone a significant change in the way we relate to each other and of course our "half marathon" is no exception to this, which is why in this XXXI edition we have not been able to organize it as we traditionally do, but we are going to organize it virtually so that all of you can enjoy a day of coexistence with sport and nature in an individual and supportive way.

Information and purposes of the virtual test:
The Brotherhood of Our Lady of Magdalene of Cieza, in collaboration with the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia, is organizing the “XXXI HALF MARATHON OF THE CITY OF CIEZA”.
This is a purely participatory and charitable event, intended to promote physical activity and raise funds through donations; all proceeds will go to the local AECC board.
Description:
Anyone can participate, regardless of age, by simply practicing any type of physical exercise at home or in the surrounding areas of their town or city (running, walking, cycling, Pilates, yoga, etc.).
All registered participants will be entitled to a commemorative race T-shirt. Depending on their registration, they must pick it up in person at the Brotherhood's facilities, located at Calle Cadenas No. 16, by appointment. Alternatively, they will receive the T-shirt at their home by courier.
Date of celebration:
The event will take place next Sunday, December 6, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. without interruption.
Participation mode:
A donation must be made by completing the pre-registration process and downloading the race number online. On the day of the event, during the running time (10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.), participants can upload a photo using the hashtag #MediaMaratónCieza, performing the chosen exercise, clearly displaying the race number assigned to the download.

Registration costs 6 euros if the participant picks up the T-shirt at our facilities. It costs 10 euros if the participant wants to receive the T-shirt at home.
Raffles:
A drawing will be held using the numbers of the registered race numbers. The prizes for the winners of the various drawings will be announced in the days leading up to the race on various social media platforms. These prizes will be donated by local partner organizations, and will also be announced on social media.
This event is entirely voluntary. Participants should be aware that their participation in the "XXXI CIUDAD DE CIEZA HALF MARATHON" does not include accident or liability insurance coverage. Therefore, the Hermandad Sª Mª Magdalena de Cieza and the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia are exempt from any damages caused as a result of participating in this virtual charity event.
