For the second consecutive year, the La Invasión Shield Festival offered an online event to commemorate the weekend, which for more than 20 years has brought thousands of residents together in our old town.
In an effort to bring back the figure who gives meaning to the legend that chronicles this historical event, and with La Muda as the protagonist, a three-part documentary series was proposed under the title: 'La muda: testimony of our history.'
The initial idea for this documentary was to provide a one-click promotional product for the Coat of Arms Festival. This idea has been successfully captured in this documentary. It's now available in full on its YouTube channel.
This is where you can enjoy how they have been able to recreate each event that makes up our festivities with such skill and care. It also had an impact on social media, reaching more than 10,000 people and virtual profiles who, at some point, stopped by and enjoyed our story.
No less important, this saga was accompanied by a series of interviews with those responsible for ensuring that 600 Festeros return every April to make a festival of regional and national renown possible. They are the people responsible for Cieza's Moors and Christians festival, the envy of many other festival-going towns.
A turning point has undoubtedly been marked, not only for the 2022 Coat of Arms Festival, but also for the Declaration of Regional Tourist Interest.
