IES Los Albares has always had a close relationship with the French language. Since the school's creation in 1979, French has become one of the Ciezano school's most important hallmarks, a relationship that has only grown stronger over time.

It should not be forgotten that IES Los Albares was one of the first bilingual schools in the Region of Murcia, beginning its journey with French as its primary foreign language. English was later added to its bilingual program, becoming multilingual.

To further highlight this program, students in the Multilingual Section take tests each year to certify their level in the languages they are studying. In the case of French, the certifying institution is the Alliance Française, the official French organization that awards the B1 and B2 Common European Framework diplomas to students beginning in the fourth year of compulsory secondary education (ESO) after passing four tests.

Well, as usual, the boys and girls of Los Albares have just achieved more than excellent results in this year's tests. In fact, the pass rate for the B1 level tests is 97.44%, while for the B2 level, the percentage reached 90.48%. These are demanding tests that assess the candidates' oral comprehension and production, as well as their written comprehension and production skills. If they pass, they will have a fairly advanced level of French language proficiency, accredited and certified by the Alliance.

The institute's school community congratulates the students who have earned the certification and encourages them to continue their study and practice of French to earn even higher certifications.
