Once again this year, the Brotherhood of Santa María Magdalena is organizing a stand-up comedy show as part of the 2021 Cieza Fair and Festival program. This year, the lineup includes:
Save Queen, One of the comedians and actors who has gained recognition in recent years, participating in television series such as "Allí abajo," "Sabuesos," and "La zona," and films such as "La isla mínima," "Villaviciosa de Al Lado," and "Señor Dame Paciencia," among others. He has recorded several monologues for Comedy Central and for the program "El Club de la Comedia." Malaga-born Salva Reina surprises in every show with his high-pitched voice and astonishing mental and verbal agility. He delivers extreme doses of sudden madness that he accompanies with his unique way of dressing. Watching him perform is like enjoying everyday stories with a twist, taken to the extreme, always seeking the audience's complicity. His monologues energize and improvise on stage, taking on a life of their own to captivate the audience from the moment he takes the microphone.
Agustín Durán, has become a viral phenomenon thanks to his La Mancha gags on Facebook, where he has 177,747 followers, and on YouTube with more than 1,839,248 views. With the impact his videos have achieved online, he has even made it to the big screen, with his role in the film 'Re-emigrantes', and he is touring stages all over the country promoting La Mancha humor. Humor runs in his blood, and the comedian has established himself as one of CMM's featured comedians, with his comedy section on Radio Castilla-La Mancha and starring in the Planeta Tikis Mikis program on regional television. He has become another comedian who champions "La Mancha's retranca" (the La Mancha reticence), first on social media and now also in live performances. A champion of La Mancha humor, the comedian champions rurality and simplicity. His show "Hola Borreguetes!" It's a clear example, where he traces his life from the womb to the present day, passing through television, school, and first love... using the piano to sing, make people sing, and reinforce his ideas through songs and laughter! He has recently premiered his new show "Cazafantoches," which has already been booked for performances throughout Spain.
Fran Pati, In these times, being fashionable is essential, but Fran Pati doesn't understand some things, especially when a young man with a peculiar, mischievous, and innocent point of view moves from a village in La Mancha to the capital of Spain. The lifestyles of the modern people who perform in neighborhoods like Malasaña make this a contemporary stand-up comedy, especially one that seeks to connect with the audience. The comparisons this comedian from Albacete makes between Madrid and his homeland, or how times have changed since his childhood, make this show a great choice for a humorous audience.
The show will take place next Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at 10:30 p.m. In the Gabriel Celaya auditorium in our town, the price of tickets is 15 euros in advance sale and 18 euros at the box office. Tickets are now on sale at www.buyticket.com , in preventive insurance and in the Santa María Magdalena Brotherhood.
Collaborating in the organization of this show are The Excellent City Council of Cieza and Miguel Marín Julia, SL (integrated motor center).
