Emergency services rescued and transported to hospital the seriously injured driver of a tractor that overturned and fell into a ditch on a farm near the RM-B19 Cieza-Calasparra highway, in the municipality of Cieza.
At 12:30 p.m., 1-1-2 received calls from the children of the injured man reporting that their father was trapped under the tractor he was driving, which had overturned. Local police patrols, ambulances, and medical personnel from the 061 Emergency Medical Service and firefighters from the Murcia Region Fire and Rescue Consortium were dispatched to the scene.
After being rescued by firefighters, the injured man (a 60-year-old man) was treated and stabilized by paramedics, who transferred him to the Vega Regional Hospital "Lorenzo Guirao" in Cieza.
