Emergency services were unable to save the driver of a car, who was found dead inside his vehicle, which had fallen onto a slope next to the A-30 highway in Cieza.
At 9:29 a.m., 1-1-2 received a call from a person reporting finding a damaged car that had left the road and fallen down a 6-7 meter embankment, at kilometer 105 of the A-30 highway. The caller reported that the occupant was unconscious and trapped inside the vehicle.
Civil Guard and Local Police patrols, firefighters from the Murcia Region Fire and Rescue Consortium, and a Mobile Emergency Unit with paramedics from the 061 Emergency and Emergency Management Department responded to the scene. Paramedics were only able to confirm the death of the injured man, a 50-year-old man.
