Next Tuesday, April 24th, the Novena in honor of the Most Holy Christ of Consolation begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Basilica of Our Lady of the Assumption. It will continue until May 2nd. It will be preached by Don Miguel Ángel Saorín Rodríguez.
Miguel Ángel Saorín Rodríguez
Born in Cieza on February 27, 1976.
In September 1997 he entered the Diocesan Seminary of San Fulgencio in Murcia, Diocese of Cartagena, where he carried out ecclesiastical studies (Ballicher in Theology).
Ordained Deacon on December 6, 2002 at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Molina de Segura.
Ordained a priest in the Basilica of Our Lady of the Assumption of Cieza by Monsignor Manuel Ureña Pastor on July 6, 2003.
In the Diocese of Cartagena he holds the following positions:
– 2003-2005.- Assistant at the parish of San Francisco Javier-San Antón de Murcia
– 2005-2007.- Parish priest of San Juan Bautista de El Albujón and Our Lady of Consolation of El Jimenado.
– 2007-2008.- Vicar of the Parish of Our Lady of the Rosary of Torre Pacheco.
– 2008 to present.- Parish Priest of the Immaculate Heart of Mary of Cartagena.
– Principal of the La Encarnación Parish School in Cartagena, where education is taught from Early Childhood Education to Secondary Education.
– 2012-2015.- Archpriest of Cartagena Norte.
– 2012 to present.- Member of the Presbyteral Council of the Diocese of Cartagena.
